I offer EMDR as one option for working through distressing past experiences.
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. In therapy, a person focuses on a distressing memory while following back-and-forth eye movements, sounds, or taps with a trained clinician.
It is one evidence-based therapy for PTSD. We can discuss whether it may be an appropriate option for you.

I have a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and 18 years of experience. I know that things from the past can bring shame and guilt and affect your self-confidence. I offer a safe place to process those experiences and the beliefs you may have developed over time.
I raised my daughter as a single parent, and I understand how stressful everyday life can feel when you’re balancing responsibilities and caring for the people you love. I also support people experiencing anxiety and depression, offering a place to talk openly and work through what feels difficult, at your own pace.
I believe having someone who cares and walks alongside you, using therapeutic techniques to help you move forward, can be life changing. Whatever your spiritual or religious beliefs or gender identity, you are welcome here without judgment.
